1.Main functions and purposes

2.Structure and working principle

The double-shaft shredder is a new type of efficient shredding equipment, specially designed for processing high-strength materials such as metal, rubber, and plastic. The equipment uses two independent reducers to drive two shredding knife shafts respectively, and through the "scissor-like" shearing effect between the knife shafts, it can achieve strong shredding of the material. The equipment is equipped with start, stop, reverse and overload automatic reverse control functions to ensure safe and stable operation. The double-shaft shredder has the advantages of low speed, high torque, and low noise. It is especially suitable for processing materials with high hardness and large volume, and can efficiently complete the coarse shredding

3. Workflow

Step 1: Material introduction

The material to be processed is fed into the equipment through the feed port of the shredder. Due to the wide variety and different sizes of recycled materials, the feed port and blade size of the shredder can be customized according to actual needs to ensure that it meets the processing requirements of different materials.

Step 2: Cutting and tearing process

There are usually two sets of rotating cutting blades or gears inside the shredder. These blades or gears exert strong shearing and tearing forces on the incoming material by interlocking with each other, thus breaking the material into smaller pieces.

Step 3: Waste discharge: The processed waste is discharged through the shredder outlet. Depending on the type and purpose of the processed material, the waste may be collected in a container or directly conveyed to other equipment through a conveyor for further processing.
